Sometimes transitions are so hard we fixate on all the changes that could happen or strategize all the ways we can mitigate change. In this MC discussion for retreats we want to do two things…zoom out on the hope we have in Christ and live in this moment of discernment.
Hope

Witness

In this passage, Paul says that we boast in the hope of the glory of God because of the grace and salvation of God.
The ancient Greek word for witness is martyr. That’s what Jesus said when he announced his disciples would receive the Holy Spirit and become witnesses to his power. They would see and experience the power of the Spirit of God.

Discerning
The Gospel is our foundation for discernment. There’s so much grace and freedom. Spend time discussing ideas, thoughts, or concerns you have about what’s next for Soma. There’s no bad idea or thought and it’s okay to feel and think things that are different from the group.
