Origins of Sorrow | Genesis 11:1-9

In this sermon, we recap this series on Genesis and reflect with dialogue before Brad Watson preaches (9:17) through that story of the city of on the plains of Shinar where the people build a massive temple complex and tower before God confuses their language and scatters them. In this passage we see how a diluted view of God always distorts humanity and how we cannot make God like us to close the gap between us, but instead need Jesus to come to us.
